Exploring Pattern; Glass Cane Pattern Bars, PDF

$28

In this e-book I offer step by step instructions for 11 fused glass pattern bar techniques that combine sheet glass and vitrigraph cane. They are all made in a standard rectangular casting mold that can be made out of glass dams, Vermiculite boards or even a porcelain tile. If you don't have a vitrigraph kiln to make the cane, kits are available from The Murrini Man at www.etsy.com/shop/murriniman for each project. There are 106 pages and hundreds of photos detailing every step in an easy to follow format. Even if you are new to fused glass you can make these designs. To complete the patterns you will need a kiln and wet saw to cut the glass pattern bars into slices. If you don't have a wet saw they can be rented for a minimal fee from local hardware or ceramic shops. Along with the patterns I've also included tips and techniques for using a wet saw as well as all the necessary firing schedules for the patterns and to make the cane. There are schedules for both System 96 and Bullseye glass in Fahrenheit and Celcius. For those who pull their own cane pictures of the stacks and information on the setup is also included.

Please note: There are no returns or refunds on digital products & all prices are in US dollars.
